Why every joiner ends up at the same price

HLP-7MDD2NR

When you join a deal early, you may notice the displayed price is higher than what later joiners see. Everyone pays the same final price regardless of when they joined.

How locking works

The deal locks at the deadline. The locked tier is determined by the highest tier number the join count reached:

  • 10 joiners by deadline: locks at tier 1
  • 25 joiners by deadline: locks at tier 2
  • 50 joiners by deadline: locks at tier 3

Every joiner pays the locked tier's price.

So why does it look like I committed at a higher price?

Your wallet hold is conservative: it equals tier 1 (the highest tier currently unlocked) times your units. This guarantees the seller is covered even if the deal does not progress.

When the deal locks at a lower tier, the difference is released back to your wallet automatically. You only ever pay the final tier price.

Why share?

Because every join after yours can drop the tier you pay at. A friend you bring in this morning could move the whole group from tier 1 to tier 2 by evening. That benefits you and them equally.
