Buyer protection on Cheaply

HLP-EWC8CTV

Every wallet commitment is held by Cheaply, not paid directly to the seller. The seller only receives the payout after delivery is confirmed and the dispute window closes with no open issues.

How it protects you

  • Your money is held in escrow until you actually receive what you ordered.
  • If the seller does not ship, your full payment is refunded.
  • If the item arrives but is not as described, broken, missing parts, or otherwise wrong, you can open a dispute. Cheaply mediates.
  • The seller has every incentive to communicate, fulfil correctly, and resolve issues fast - because their payout depends on it.

What is the dispute window?

After the courier marks your order delivered, you have a fixed window to open a dispute if anything is wrong. The exact length is visible on each order page. Once the window passes with no dispute opened, the order is considered complete and payout releases.

When buyer protection does not apply

  • Items collected in person against the platform's terms
  • Items moved off-platform after lock (e.g. paying the seller directly outside Cheaply)
  • Damage caused after delivery

Keep everything on-platform, and protection covers you.
