Accepted ID types

We accept the following Nigerian government-issued IDs for personal verification:
- National Identification Number (NIN)
- International Passport
- Driver's License
- Voter's Card
- National ID Card
What makes a good submission
- A clear, full-frame photo of the front of the ID.
- Where the back of the ID is also relevant (NIN slip, driver's license), upload both sides.
- Even, daylight lighting. No flash glare, no shadows over the text.
- Nothing cropped: every corner of the ID must be visible.
- The photo must not be doctored or filtered.
What gets rejected
- Photos of photos (re-take from the original ID).
- Heavy glare obscuring text.
- Expired IDs.
- Names that do not match your Cheaply profile name (update your profile first).
- IDs that have been clearly edited.
If your submission is rejected you can re-submit immediately. The reason is in your inbox.
