What is a Promotion Pool?

HLP-TP459MJ

A Promotion Pool is a campaign-style deal that lets multiple sellers, businesses, creators, or service providers combine their marketing budgets into a single funded campaign.

Instead of each seller running tiny separate ads, they each buy a slot in a pool. The pool's creator uses the combined budget to run promotion across channels (paid ads, influencer, offline) and drive traffic to a campaign landing page where every participant's slot is shown.

It is a deal in the Cheaply sense - everything on Cheaply is a deal - but a special one with different mechanics from a normal product deal.

Why use it

  • Bigger budgets, bigger reach. A pool with 30 participants funds the kind of campaign no single seller could afford alone.
  • Shared work. One creator handles the ad operations. Participants just supply their best deal or landing target.
  • Transparent pricing. Every cost - ad spend, creator fee, platform fee, slot price - is visible to participants before they pay.
  • Curated traffic. Visitors land on a page built only of paid slots. No marketplace distractions, no homepage chrome.

Who is involved

There are two sides:

  • Campaign creator: the marketer or campaign organiser. They define the budget, the channel mix, the slot count, and the landing copy.
  • Participants: sellers, brands, service providers, or storefront owners who buy slots and supply what each slot points to.
